Evolución de la Seguridad Social en Salud en Colombia: avances, limitaciones y retos

Abstract

Con motivo de los diez anos del Observatorio de la Seguridad Social, órgano de difusión académica e investigativa del Grupo de Economía de la Salud (GES) de la Universidad de Antioquia, esta observación está dedicada a seguir contribuyendo al debate actual sobre el futuro del SGSSS, con base en algunos análisis e hipótesis acerca de sus avances, limitaciones y retos. En esta oportunidad se proponen cuatro temáticas clave sobre las cuales el área de la Economía de la Salud ha realizado juiciosos aportes desde las primeras etapas del proceso de implementación de la Ley 100: la función de regulación, la cobertura del seguro de salud y acceso a los servicios de salud, el financiamiento y la organización industrial.
