Imperfect Competition in International Trade: A Dynamic Game

Abstract

A noncooperative Nash difference game is defined. Previous attempts to model imperfect competition in the world market for grains are reviewed, and the advantages of using a difference game model are discussed. A simple game involving the U. S., the EEC and Japan is solved and results are summarized.
