Abstract

The challenge of ensuring future food and nutrition security received widespread attention in 2013. This chapter describes discussions on the direction of the global development agenda as the world approaches the 2015 deadline of the Millennium Development Goals and reviews major 2013 food policy events and decisions around the world.
