Abstract

Wie sollten demokratische Kräfte mit der äußersten Rechten umgehen? Diese Frage beschäftigt aktuell nicht nur viele demokratische Parteien in Europa, sondern auch die Massenmedien, die sogenannte Vierte Gewalt der Demokratie. Dass neben den Parteien die Medien eine entscheidende Rolle für die Entwicklung der radikalen und extremen Rechten spielen, wurde in vielen Studien nachgewiesen. Weniger ist bekannt über deren Strategien und Intentionen: Wie reagieren unterschiedliche Medien auf die äußerste Rechte?
