Abstract

Das Umfeld für die österreichische Sachgütererzeugung blieb auch 2025 von Konjunkturschwäche, hoher Unsicherheit und verhaltener Investitionsneigung geprägt. Die Aufwendungen für neue Produkte und Dienstleistungen lagen im Aggregat zwar nahe am langjährigen Durchschnitt, entwickelten sich aber wenig dynamisch. Zugleich planten die befragten Unternehmen für 2026 eine Ausweitung der Innovationsausgaben, was vermehrten Optimismus signalisierte. Der Anteil der Unternehmen mit Produkt- oder Dienstleistungsneueinführungen erreichte mit 26,6% den höchsten Wert seit Ausbruch der COVID-19-Pandemie, blieb jedoch klar unter dem Niveau von 2016. Die Kreditaufnahmen stiegen 2025 leicht. Im längerfristigen Vergleich gehen sie mit einer höheren Ausgabendynamik für Neueinführungen einher, während der rückläufige Anteil kreditbeschränkter Unternehmen tendenziell eine Vergrößerung der Finanzierungsspielräume anzeigt.
