Change Management of Population’s Employment in Information Society 5.0: SAP–LAP Model for Sustainable Development

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the resolution of the scientific and practical problem of the search for possibilities of overcoming the described contradiction and a well-balanced improvement of the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of labour in the information society 5.0. The authors’ goal lies in determining the perspective of improvement of change management of the population’s employment in information society 5.0 for its sustainable development. Based on the sample of 61 countries and using statistics of IMD and the UN for 2023, we provided the economic and mathematical explanation of the consequences of changes in the population’s employment in information society 5.0 for its sustainable development. The authors’ main conclusion is that it is possible and necessary to simultaneously improve or preserve at the current level the quantitative and qualitative priorities of the sustainability of the population’s employment. The scientific novelty and originality of this paper are that to solve the problem posed we propose a novel—SAP–LAP—model, which is characterised by increased flexibility and adaptability to the dynamic environment of the labour market in information society 5.0. The theoretical significance of the authors’ results and conclusions is that they allow, for the first time, the possibility of well-balanced improvement of the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of labour in information society 5.0. The practical significance of the research results is that the compiled forecast of the systemic management of quantitative and qualitative changes in the population’s employment in information society 5.0 can be put in the basis of the global “roadmap” of the labour market’s sustainable development. The managerial significance of the authors’ recommendations is that the SAP–LAP model will help optimise the modern international practice of state and corporate management of changes in the labour market.
