Equidad de género en las pequeñas y medianas empresas del Valle de San Quintín, B.C

Abstract

Es una investigación cualitativa de tipo descriptiva-exploratoria, que se realiza en el Valle de San Quintín, Baja California con el objetivo de determinar la presencia dentro de la actividad empresarial en la región de la mujer, inicia con la realización de un censo de las unidades económicas que operan en la región desde las localidades de Colonet hasta Lázaro Cárdenas, identificando una población de 1,164 empresas. Aplicando un cuestionario estructurado de tipo cerrado en escala Likert a una muestra representativa de 268 organizaciones (Murray y Larry, 2009). En los resultados se puede observar que el 79% son micro empresas en función del número de empleados que poseen, calculando que el 61.9% de las pequeñas y medianas empresas del Valle están siendo dirigidas por hombres, en tanto solo el 38.1% son encabezadas por mujeres, resultando como hallazgo que les preocupa mayormente el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones fiscales que la capacitación.
