Die Struktur des Schweizer Aussenhandels mit China – eine vergleichende Analyse

Abstract

Die Schwellenländer werden aufgrund ihres kräftigen Wirtschaftswachstums und hohen Anteils an der Weltbevölkerung als Wachstumsmärkte der Zukunft bezeichnet. Die wirtschaftlich fortgeschrittenen Länder profitieren jedoch – vor allem in Abhängigkeit ihrer Handelsstrukturen – in unterschiedlichem Mass von der wirtschaftlichen Integration dieser aufstrebenden Nationen. In der vorliegenden Analyse wird versucht, die Position der Schweiz im Handel mit den Schwellenländern im nationalen und internationalen Kontext zu bestimmen. Dazu wird – exemplarisch für die Schwellenländer – die Entwicklung der Struktur des Schweizer Aussenhandels mit China anhand desaggregierter Aussenhandelsdaten untersucht und mit dem gesamten Aussenhandel der Schweiz sowie dem Handel der EU-Länder mit China verglichen. Die Studie liefert neue Erkenntnisse zu den Auswirkungen des stark wachsenden Aussenhandels mit China auf die strukturelle Entwicklung der schweizerischen Aussenwirtschaft.
