Abstract

Este trabajo analiza el nivel de integración existente entre los mercados de financiación a la vivienda en los países de la Unión Europea. Se desarrolla en varios apartados en los que se va analizando la estructura de tenencia de viviendas, la intervención gubernamental en los mercados hipotecarios, las características de los contratos e instrumentos de financiación, el nivel de deuda hipotecaria y el colateral o garantía, a través de los cuales se van identificando los principales obstáculos y logros en el proceso de integración de los mercados hipotecarios. / This study analyses the integration level within the European Union housing financial markets. The paper develops across several sections devoted to housing tenure structure, policy intervention in housing markets, characteristics of mortgage contracts and financial instruments, and mortgage debt and collateral. This analysis allows us to identify the principal barriers to integration and to value de advances reached in the integration mortgage market process.
