Abstract

This research is based on analyzing access to financing by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) We consider regional interdependence where the companies are located. These firms are an essential element in the Development and competitiveness of the region of Guanajuato. We perform factorial analysis by major components to determine whether there is a significant relationship between the regional influence factor and access to financing of small businesses. Results show differences in the regions, attributable to the characteristics of the financing of the MSMES. The results appear to be driven by regional interdependence, and are determinant in the development and competitiveness of MSMES in Guanajuato, Mexico
