Abstract

Obiettivo di questo contributo ? di analizzare il welfare attraverso la lente dell?innovazione sociale e di concetti affini emersi nella recente letteratura scientifica e politico-istituzionale, cercando di cogliere principalmente le dimensioni ermeneutiche, epistemologiche ed etiche che caratterizzano l?innovazione sociale e l?evoluzione del welfare come processi razionali di conoscenza e decisione (ovvero osservazione-sperimentazione, concettualizzazione-interpretazione, valutazione-giudizio e decisione-azione). Attraverso tale schema metodologico l?autore ha altres? inteso sviluppare il percorso di selezione, valutazione e presentazione di alcuni spunti interpretativi offerti in letteratura, rilevando la portata culturale - prima ancora che economica, sociale e politico-istituzionale - di tali processi innovativi.
