Abstract

The most important literature data on absolute total cross sections for noble gas systems have been surveyed. A comparison has been made with total cross sections calculated from various interatomic potentials proposed in the literature and with the total cross sections deduced from the long range part of the potential theoretically derived by Tang et al. for the noble gas systems.
