Effects of enterprise viability on corporate green innovation performance

Abstract

This paper explores the impact of Enterprise Viability on corporate green innovation performance using a sample of Chinese listed companies within year 2010–2021. It is found that the viability of enterprises has a positive effect on their green innovation performance; the higher the viability of enterprises, the better their green innovation performance. The study of moderating effect shows that the development strategy against comparative advantage and factor market distortion weaken the promotion effect of enterprise viability on enterprise green innovation performance.
