Abstract

This study examines a sample of Chinese listed companies from 2010 to 2022, employing quantile regression for empirical analysis. It investigates how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance influences corporate value and explores the mediating role of supply chain sustainability in this relationship. The findings indicate that ESG performance constrains corporate value, whereas supply chain sustainability acts as a mediator between the two. Additionally, green financial innovation significantly moderates the relationship between ESG performance and corporate value.
