Impact of corporate governance level on enterprise total factor productivity from the perspective of supply chain digitization

Abstract

This study uses Chinese listed companies from 2013 to 2022 as research samples and explores the impact of corporate governance level on enterprise total factor productivity from the perspective of supply chain digitization. Findings reveal that supply chain digitization can enhance enterprise total factor productivity. Corporate governance level is positively correlated with enterprise total factor productivity. The impact of supply chain digitization on the total factor productivity varies between state-owned and non-state-owned enterprises, with a more pronounced impact on state-owned enterprises. R&D investment plays an intermediary role between corporate governance level and enterprise total factor productivity.
