Collaborative equity networks in the supply chain and peer effects on corporate green transition

Abstract

This paper uses listed non-financial and non-insurance companies in the Chinese A-share capital market as the research sample to empirically examine the impact of collaborative equity networks in the supply chain on peer effects in corporate green transitions. The empirical results of this study show that there are peer effects in the green transition of companies within the supply chain, and that collaborative equity networks in the supply chain can significantly promote these peer effects. Further analysis indicates that the peer effects of collaborative equity networks on the green transition are more pronounced in non-state-owned enterprises and manufacturing enterprises compared to state-owned and non-manufacturing enterprises.
