Estimation of monthly average, daily, horizontal diffuse radiation in Turkey

Abstract

Several correlations have been examined to estimate monthly average, daily, horizontal, diffuse radiation for Turkey. Measured data from five different locations have been used. The mean daily diffuse ratio correlates well with the clearness index and the relative bright sunshine hours. Our results have been compared with other correlations.
