El trabajo, la identidad y la organización en el nuevo mundo laboral

Abstract

Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre las posibilidades y condiciones de organización y representación en el contexto laboral actual, caracterizado por contrataciones atípicas mediante figuras de intermediación laboral: órdenes de prestación de servicios, plantas temporales, contratos de corta duración y otras figuras, lo que se denomina aquí nuevas formas de contratación. El contexto de investigación corresponde a los despidos masivos generados en diferentes entidades del Distrito Capital de Bogotá, ante la llegada a la Alcaldía de Enrique Penalosa en 2016. Se observaron las dinámicas organizativas y las diferentes acciones que los sindicatos y los trabajadores afectados emprendieron para afrontar este problema, atravesados por las diferentes modalidades de contratación en que se encontraban. Se realizó una aproximación etnográfica a los espacios de organización y discusión de los trabajadores, acompanada de revisión de prensa y de documentos y estadísticas oficiales.
