La política de educación en Colombia 1957-2004

Abstract

Este escrito se divide en cuatro secciones además de esta introducción. En la siguiente sección se hace un breve recuento de las principales políticas del país desde el inicio del Frente Nacional hasta nuestros días. En las siguientes secciones se discuten los principales logros de este conjunto de políticas. En la tercera sección se presenta una medida del acervo de educación que resume el impacto de las políticas entre 1957 y 1991. En la cuarta sección se discute la historia reciente de la educación a través de una medida que representa el flujo actual del capital humano. En la última sección se presentan consideraciones sobre los retos futuros de la política educativa y algunas opciones de política.
