Corona Crisis: Crisis Management and Future Strategies of Companies

Abstract

The ifo Institute surveyed managers and human resources staff of German companies on the measures taken during the crisis and their expectations regarding future changes in the world of work. The results show the rise of digital solutions in response to the coronavirus crisis. At the same time, the topics of sustainability, employee satisfaction, and leadership culture are moving more into the focus of the management level. This indicates that the coronavirus pandemic will have long-term effects on the economy and HR work.
