Abstract
This article analyzes in detail various theoretical approaches to the definition of the concept of «labor productivity», its content and the main factors affecting labor productivity. Such factors as technological equipment, qualification and motivation of personnel, organization of work processes, cultural and communicative aspects, as well as working conditions are considered. Modern strategies and methods of studying and evaluating productivity in IT-companies as one of the main indicators of labor efficiency in modern conditions are studied. Attention is focused on models of measurement of labor productivity: multifactorial, normative and multicriteria. The classification of indicators used in the assessment of labor productivity is given, namely qualitative, quantitative and efficiency indicators. The methods of evaluating labor productivity, which are usually used by modern IT companies, are also analyzed: the 360-degree method, certification, the KPI system, and self-evaluations. In addition, based on the analysis of modern research, approaches and specific methods of increasing the efficiency of distributed team work are proposed. The main aspects that this study focuses on are communication, time management, and the use of technological solutions to support teamwork. The article proposes ways to increase labor productivity, in particular, the implementation of modern project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Lean and Kanban, the use of artificial intelligence, cloud services, the implementation of DevOps practices to automate processes, improve working conditions, and eliminate cultural and communication barriers. Since the development of the IT-sphere and the successful operation of IT-companies depend on the qualifications of IT-specialists, their ability and desire to work productively, the article pays special attention to ways of improving qualifications and modern methods of motivating personnel, aimed at increasing the efficiency of work processes and the motivation of IT-employees , which will ultimately contribute to the further development and growth of the competitiveness of IT-companies in modern conditions.
