Engpässe in wissensintensiven Berufen - Reaktionen von Fachkräften und Unternehmen

Abstract

Der konzeptionelle Beitrag erörtert die Zusammenhänge zwischen Engpässen in wissensintensiven Berufen, der Wahl der Erwerbsform und den strategischen Konsequenzen für KMU mit Fachkräftebedarf. Für Fachkräfte in wissensintensiven Engpassberufen ist eine selbstständige Tätigkeit mit guten Einkommensaussichten, hohem nicht-pekuniären Nutzen, geringen Investitionsrisiken und einer Vielzahl unternehmerischer Gelegenheiten verbunden. Die vermehrte Selbstständigkeit verknappt das Angebot an potenziellen Arbeitskräften weiter, insbesondere für KMU. Eine Alternative ist die Auslagerung wissensintensiver Tätigkeiten, die jedoch Abhängigkeiten in wettbewerbsentscheidenden Bereichen schafft. Vorteilhafter sind lerninduzierte Kooperationen mit Unternehmen oder Start-ups mit dem Ziel, die Ressourcen in wissensintensiven Engpassberufen zu bündeln und langfristig nutzbar zu machen.
