L’émergence des multinationales latines

Abstract

[fre] Le paysage entrepreneurial mondial a considérablement évolué au cours des dix dernières années. De nouvelles multinationales ont émergé dans des pays comme le Brésil, l’Inde, la Chine, la Russie, l’Afrique du Sud et le Mexique. L’échiquier mondial des grandes entreprises est en passe de vivre une mutation fulgurante que la crise de la fin de la décennie 2000 n’interrompt aucunement. Au-delà du géant chinois, dont les entreprises ont des ambitions internationales affichées, d’autres pays, notamment ceux d’Amérique latine, participent également de cette émergence. C’est le cas tout particulièrement des multinationales du Mexique et du Brésil, deux pays moteurs de l’Amérique latine, dont les entreprises se sont lancées elles aussi dans d’ambitieux projets d’expansion internationale au cours de la dernière décennie. . Classification JEL : M20, O5, O12. [eng] The emergence of Latin multinationals . The world’s entrepreneurial landscape has evolved considerably over the last ten years. New multinationals have emerged in countries like Brazil, India, China, Russia, South Africa and Mexico. The global playing field of large companies is currently undergoing a lightning transformation which the recent crisis has done nothing to curb. In addition to China, whose companies openly display their international ambitions, other countries, notably those in Latin America, are also taking part in this emergence. This is particularly true of Mexico and Brazil, two driving forces in Latin America, whose multinational companies have also launched ambitious plans for international expansion during the last decade. .
