Abstract

Wind data from 10 coastal meteorological stations along the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt have been used for statistical analysis to determine the wind characteristics. It was found that three stations show annual mean wind speed greater than 5.0m/s. In order to identify the Weibull parameters for all stations two different methods were applied.
