Análisis de eficiencia financiera de las empresas cotizantes en el mercado accionario colombiano para el periodo 2012- 2017

Abstract

Este artículo busca evaluar la eficiencia financiera de 69 empresas cotizantes en el mercado accionario colombiano (2012-2017), para conocer cómo llevan a cabo la asignación óptima de recursos. Para ello, se aplica el Análisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA) —con los modelos CCR, BCC y EE— a las variables de Ingresos operacionales, Propiedad, Planta y equipo, Inversiones e Inventarios de tales empresas. Los resultados arrojan que la mayoría no asignan de forma eficiente los recursos durante el periodo considerado, ya que, en promedio, solo 17 (26,82%) logran la eficiencia, mientras que apenas 6 la mantienen ininterrumpidamente. En la investigación se concluye que el tipo de escala utilizado por las empresas no es determinante en el resultado de eficiencia obtenido.
