Neue Wege für die duale Berufsausbildung: Ein Blick auf Österreich, die Schweiz und Dänemark

Abstract

Zu wenige Schüler schaffen in Deutschland den Sprung in eine reguläre Ausbildung; viele verbleiben in staatlichen Fördermaßnahmen. Die dualen Systeme in Österreich, der Schweiz und Dänemark weisen dagegen innovative Elemente auf, den Herausforderungen der modernen Arbeitswelt zu begegnen. Stichpunkte für Reformen sind die Einbindung schwächerer Schüler in die Berufsausbildung und ein verbessertes Zusammenspiel zwischen Betrieben und Berufsschulen. Die Ausbildung sollte breiter werden und im weiteren Erwerbsleben durch gezielte Weiterbildung ergänzt werden.
