Erfolgsfaktoren von Stiftungskooperationen: Ergebnisse einer theoretischen und empirischen Analyse

Abstract

Stiftungen nehmen wichtige Aufgaben in der Gesellschaft wahr. Nicht überraschend hat ihre Bedeutung in den vergangenen Jahren stark zugenommen. Viele Faktoren sprechen für eine Fortsetzung dieser Entwicklung. Sie stammen sowohl aus dem Angebot an als auch von der Nachfrage nach Stiftungsprojekten. Doch es sind auch gegenläufige Trends zu beachten. Einerseits sind sie struktureller Natur, andererseits hängen sie mit den aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Entwicklungen und den Problemen auf den Finanzmärkten zusammen. Interessant ist, dass beide Perspektiven der zukünftigen Bedeutung von Stiftungen darauf Bezug nehmen, dass der Wirkungsgrad umgesetzter Projekte und verfügbarer Stiftungsmittel gesteigert werden sollte. Dies legt es nahe zu prüfen, welche Ansatzpunkte dafür zur Verfügung stehen. Zu analysieren, ob die Kooperation von Stiftungen mit anderen Organisationen eine bessere Erreichung des Stiftungszweckes ermöglicht, ist naheliegend, wenn berücksichtigt wird, weshalb gewinnorientierte Unternehmen zusammenarbeiten. Das vorliegende IfG-Arbeitspapier von Annegret Saxe fasst Ergebnisse eines größeren Forschungsprojektes zusammen, das eine fundierte Analyse des Kooperationsgeschehens von Stiftungen in Deutschland zum Inhalt hatte. Im Vordergrund stehen die Identifikation der Erfolgsfaktoren von Stiftungskooperationen sowie die einzelnen inhaltlichen und methodischen Schritte der Arbeit, die zu diesen Erkenntnissen führten. Dieses Arbeitspapier entstammt dem IfG-Forschungscluster II: Unternehmenskooperationen.
