Trumponomics und die deutsche Autoindustrie

Abstract

Die deutsche Wirtschaft blickt der Amtszeit des neuen US-Präsidenten Donald Trump mit gemischten Gefühlen entgegen. Die Vorteile für die deutsche Wirtschaft, die aus den geplanten Steuersenkungen und dem Infrastrukturprogramm zu erwarten sind, dürften bei weitem durch die Gefahren überschattet werden, sollte seine handelspolitische Strategie umgesetzt werden und zu einer Trendwende bei der globalen Handelspolitik führen. Ein sich global ausbreitender Protektionismus wäre Gift für das deutsche Exportmodell. Für die Autoindustrie bestehen da besondere Risiken.
