Abstract

Verpackungen sind wichtige Bestandteile der logistischen Supply Chain. Eine Verknüpfung von diesen mit smarten Technologien ermöglicht es, Verpackungen als aktive Bestandteile mit spezialisierten Aufgaben in die Prozesse der Logistik, der Industrie und des Handels zu integrieren. Hieraus entstehen zahlreiche, neue Anwendungsfelder, die zukünftig noch an Bedeutung gewinnen werden. Ein wesentlicher Aspekt der Nutzung ist die Akzeptanz der Nutzer. Nur ökonomisch und ökologisch, vollständig durchdachte Konzepte werden sich durchsetzen können.
