Uso de fronteras de eficiencia econométricas con fines de benchmarking

Abstract

El presente documento fue elaborado con fines eminentemente pedagógicos para su utilización en cursos de regulación (modalidad teleformación y presenciales) del CEER/UADE. Procuran aunar una reseña exhaustiva de la temática, con sencillez en la explicación. La primera sección se refiere a regulación y medición de la eficiencia, la segunda, la segunda se ocupa de situar en contexto a las fronteras de eficiencia. La tercera sección se ocupa de la estimación de fronteras econométricas, dividiéndose en subsecciones dedicadas a un contexto de datos de corte transversal, datos de panel y consistencia.
