Jobs, gender and small enterprises in Bulgaria

Abstract

Based on a survey of 324 women entrepreneurs and women managers conducted in 1999, examines the development of women-owned businesses, profiles women entrepreneurs, their attitudes and the influence of their work on family life, as well as exploring their performance and needs, and the gender inequalities and barriers which women entrepreneurs face.
