Abstract

Aujourd'hui, la globalisation économique n'est pas vraiment remise en cause, elle est toujours perçue par la plupart des entités étatiques comme un processus marchand favorable au développement économique et à la lutte contre la pauvreté. Or, sans repères et mesures préventives, la croissance économique qu'elle produit n'est ni soutenable, ni favorable à l'amélioration du niveau de vie des plus démunis. Les pouvoirs publics sont trop souvent au service d'intérêts privés et le règne sans partage d'une économie de marché (qui sait se protéger) est un facteur de pauvreté. L'objectif du PIB conduit souvent à l'aggravation des inégalités des revenus et des patrimoines.
