Abstract

Aujourd'hui, des appels à une bifurcation urgente de notre société pour face aux défis sociétaux et écologiques se multiplient, dont certains évoquent comme alternative souhaitable, au-delà d'une économie circulaire, une société circulaire transformative impliquant des initiatives citoyennes. Pourtant aujourd'hui, parallèlement, l'économie sociale et solidaire aurait plutôt tendance à la marchandisation. Dans ce contexte, cette communication présente une revue de littérature sur le paradoxe de transition sociétale, spécifique à une transformation vers une société circulaire nécessairement auto-organisée : institutionnaliser une dynamique d'échange auto-organisée, sans la figer. Un travail théorique étudie, à travers l'auto-organisation et l'institutionnalisation liées par le cadre théorique de la gouvernance de transition sociétale, leurs tensions dans cette transition vers une société circulaire. Des pistes apparaissent : la société circulaire appelle à l'auto-organisation citoyenne, l'auto-organisation s'avère être le fonctionnement naturel d'une société humaine, dont les conditions peuvent être assurées par des institutions de soutien plutôt que de domination, avec des principes de management adaptées à l'auto-organisation.
