Nouvelle approche conceptuelle et opérationnelle du lien entre un individu et sa region : l’appartenance régionale

Abstract

L'objectif de cette recherche est double : 1° approfondir la connaissance du lien entre un individu et sarégion par le biais d'une étude qualitative exploratoire (réalisée sous la forme de seize entretiens individuelssemi-directifs et de deux réunions de groupe de huit personnes chacune), et proposer, en conséquence, unnouveau concept spécifique : l'appartenance régionale, définie comme le lien positif et identitaire entre unindividu et un espace physique, social et culturel, appréhendé par cet individu comme son territoire régional ;2° développer une échelle de mesure de ce nouveau concept, fiable, valide, synthétique et généralisable. Pource faire, l'étude qualitative exploratoire réalisée a tout d'abord permis de générer un échantillon d'items pourchacune des trois dimensions de ce concept (physique, sociale et culturelle). Quatre collectes de donnéesquantitatives ont ensuite été menées auprès de 1691 consommateurs pour, successivement, purifier puisconfirmer l'échelle de mesure développée, établir les validités convergente, discriminante et prédictive decette échelle (comportant trois dimensions mesurées par douze items) et tester sa validité écologique.
