The Study of Doctoral Education in Economics: Ghana Case Study

Abstract

There is a substantial and unmet need for PhDs in various aspects of economics in Ghana. To estimate the need for PhD trainig in Ghana, we interviewed over 50 individuals and heads of establishment in about 30 organizations in the public and private sectors.
