Abstract

(This paper is in Turkish) Purpose of this study is to identify the Turkish Industries that have comparative advantage in manufacturing export within EU-15 and EU-10 as well as candidate countries such as Bulgaria and Romania. First, export specialization value of Turkey has been calculated with respect to SITC Rev.3 3 digit product group manufacturing export data that were adapted to Balassa index for the period of 1991–2003. Then, technological structures of the Turkish industries that exhibit export specialization/comparative advantage, in accordance with SITC technology classification, have been defined.
