Los cambios en la Distribución del Ingreso de Argentina entre 1998 y 2005

Abstract

En este trabajo se analizan los cambios en la desigualdad producidos durante el período 1998-2005. Se presenta un conjunto de resultados que pueden contribuir a entender mejor los cambios en la desigualdad. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la desigualdad distributiva observada entre ambos años esconde importantes cambios distributivos que en el análisis distributivo no se observaban. Los retornos a la educación ha jugado un papel importante en el aumento de los factores inobservables y los mayores niveles de empleo parecen haberla reducido.
