Abstract

Most of us want to make a positive impact on our families, work, and societal issues, but we are daunted by seemingly insurmountable barriers and difficulties. “What can I do that actually sticks?” “Can I pull it off?” Sometimes, these challenges just exist in our mind, while other times the risks are very real and could cost us a great deal. We come upon these moments all the time and need inspiration in these moments of choice. This chapter hopes to provide such inspiration, through stories of +influence against all odds, by well-known people of influence and regular but influential people alike…
