Abstract

Businesses need fairness operating on a global basis. They have difficulty dealing with differing regulations, corrupt systems, and so forth. It is, therefore, in the interest of business to strengthen global mechanisms and establish a level playing field. The CSR agenda is a complex one, requiring cooperation among a wide variety of stakeholders to be addressed effectively. Improved dialogue between the private and nongovernmental sectors is one positive pattern emerging from recent corporate social responsibility trends.
