Abstract

Presenta una descripción de la economía en la ciudad de Cali, abordando también el tema del narcotráfico; continúa exponiendo los aspectos más importantes de la economía local y las causas de la crisis económica de los 90, pasando a la caracterización del crecimiento económico del Valle del Cauca entre 2000-2010, incluyendo información de los sectores más dinámicos de la economía y su composición, también presentando estadísticas del mercado laboral, pobreza y desigualdad de Cali.
