Zugangssteuerung in Erwerbsminderungsrenten

Abstract

Die Sicherung gegen Erwerbsunfähigkeit gehört zu den zentralen Leistungen des modernen Sozialstaats. Sie wird angesichts steigender Altersgrenzen in der Rentenversicherung an Bedeutung gewinnen, denn ein großer Teil der Beschäftigten ist nicht in der Lage, bis zur Regelaltersgrenze zu arbeiten. In der vorliegenden Studie wird untersucht, wie sozialstaatliche Organisationen, insbesondere die Rentenversicherung und die Bundesagentur für Arbeit, vorgehen, um eine Erwerbsminderung festzustellen. Dabei zeigt sich, dass die Zugangssteuerung in Erwerbsminderungsrente nicht nur sozialrechtlich institutionalisiert, sondern auch durch bürokratische Organisation und professionsbezogene Kommunikation geprägt ist.
