Abstract

Die österreichische Wirtschaft war im I. Quartal 2008 durch ein anhaltend starkes Wachstum geprägt. Regional war dabei die Ostregion leicht bevorzugt. Vor allem in der Sachgüterproduktion verzeichneten Oberösterreich, Wien und Niederösterreich eine nach wie vor kräftige Expansion. Der Tourismus entwickelte sich hingegen in den intensiven Tourismusbundesländern im Westen überdurchschnittlich.
