Abstract

Das Wachstum verlor auch im III. Quartal 2008 weiter an Dynamik, insbesondere in der exportorientierten Sachgüterproduktion. Auch die Einschätzung der künftigen Konjunkturlage verschlechtert sich zusehends. Die Bauwirtschaft bildet hingegen noch eine Konjunkturstütze. Sehr günstig ist auch das Ergebnis des österreichischen Sommertourismus. Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt hingegen ist der Konjunkturhöhepunkt bereits überschritten. Wie für Konjunkturwendepunkte üblich differenziert sich damit das regionale Konjunkturmuster. Insgesamt zeigen sich jedoch weder nach geographischen noch nach funktionalen Abgrenzungen einheitliche regionale Trends.
