El derecho internacional ambiental y su reflejo en Colombia

Abstract

Uno de los mayores desafíos que enfrenta la comunidad internacional consiste en frenar el grave deterioro al que está sometido el medio ambiente global. Los problemas ambientales no solo no ,se detienen sino que se han ido complicando con el tiempo. En este contexto, esta obra pretende contribuir a facilitar el estudio del ordenamiento jurídico que ha surgido para dar respuesta a estos problemas -el Derecho Internacional Ambiental, cuyos principios, características, configuración y efectividad continúan en permanente evolución. Así, el trabajo aborda un análisis de esta rama del derecho no solo desde la perspectiva histórica sino también desde el examen jurídico de los aspectos fundamentales de la protección ambiental en el plano internacional y, sobre todo, sus implicaciones y reflejo en el derecho colombiano, con especial énfasis en la articulación entre las fuentes del Derecho Internacional Ambiental (DIA) y el sistema jurídico interno.
