As startups govtech e o futuro do governo no Brasil

Abstract

Esta publicação apresenta o alto potencial de crescimento do ecossistema govtech, dentro da estrutura da renovada estratégia de transformação digital do Brasil. Esse espaço está amadurecendo de forma promissora, o que é demonstrado pela valorização do Índice de Desenvolvimento do Governo Eletrônico das Nações Unidas (EGDI) das Nações Unidas e sua entrada em 2020 na lista dos países altamente desenvolvidos na matéria. No entanto, persistem desafios, por exemplo, em termos de regulação e financiamento, bem como de políticas públicas (principalmente no nível subnacional) em questões de inovação. Acima de tudo, a concretização desse potencial depende da criação de um ambiente de confiança entre o setor público e o ecossistema de inovação. Por sua vez, o Índice Govtech 2020, publicado recentemente pela CAF, coloca o Brasil como o quarto país na Ibero-América e o segundo na região atrás do Chile. O objetivo deste relatório é ter uma radiografia atualizada e, até agora, única do estado do ecossistema govtech no Brasil.
