Implikationen des Internets für das Transaktions- und Transaktionskostenniveau in der chinesischen Volkswirtschaft unter besonderer Berücksichtigung eines Digital Divides

Abstract

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Studie sind die institutionelle und quantitative Entwicklung von Internet und E-Commerce in China sowie die Analyse resultierender ökonomischer Effekte und ihrer Transformationsriemen. In methodischer Hinsicht basieren die Analysen auf drei komplementären Ansätzen. Der erste Teil der Arbeit umfasst eine deskriptive Beschreibung der Genese des Internets in China. Im zweiten Teil erfolgt eine empirische Untersuchung der Internetentwicklung in China und des dabei entstehenden innerchinesischen Digital Divide unter der Anwendung verschiedener Benchmarks. Eine institutionenökonomische Analyse möglicher ökonomischer Effekte, die aus der Nutzung des Internets resultieren, wird in Teil drei und vier vorgenommen. Ausgehend von den bestehenden institutionellen Rahmenbedingungen im Bereich Telekommunikation und Internet in China wird hierbei zwischen transaktionskosten- und transformationskostenbasierten Wirkungen in den Anwendungsfelder E-Commerce und E-learning unterschieden.
