Abstract

"Ninguna región de Colombia parece estar en mejores condiciones geográficas que los siete departamentos del Caribe continental para que el sector exportador sea el motor de su avance. Sin embargo, los historiadores económicos se sorprenden al constatar que, a lo largo de toda su historia, la Costa norte colombiana ha tenido un frágil sector externo."
