Abstract

El Centro de Estudios Económicos Regionales (CEER) del Banco de la República fue creado en 1997 con el objetivo de generar información y estudios económicos actualizados sobre el Caribe colombiano y también para evitar concentrar el esfuerzo investigativo del Banco en Bogotá. Este documento busca recopilar los principales aportes del CEER en sus primeros 15 años de funcionamiento, ya que en este periodo se han producido numerosos documentos de investigación y libros sobre los principales temas económicos y sociales del país con un enfoque regional.
