Gar nicht so abgeneigt: Was junge Erwachsene von einer Dienstpflicht halten

Abstract

Sollen junge Menschen verpflichtet werden, sich in einem sozialen Pflichtjahr für die Gesellschaft zu engagieren? Viele junge Europäer*innen sind gar nicht so abgeneigt, wie eine aktuelle Studie zeigt. Auch 39 Prozent der jungen Deutschen wären dazu bereit. Die Analyse macht deutlich, dass der Krieg in der Ukraine eine Rolle spielt: Junge Erwachsene, die sich durch den Krieg persönlich bedroht fühlen, sprechen sich stärker für eine allgemeine Dienstpflicht aus.
