Außenhandelsaktive Unternehmen: neue Erkenntnisse aus der Verknüpfung der TEC- und STEC-Statistiken

Abstract

Die zunehmende Komplexität globaler Wertschöpfungsketten stellt die Außenhandelsstatistik und die Statistik zum internationalen Dienstleistungshandel vor große Herausforderungen. In einem von der Europäischen Union geförderten Projekt hat das Statistische Bundesamt in Zusammenarbeit mit der Deutschen Bundesbank Mikrodaten aus der Außenhandelsstatistik nach Unternehmensmerkmalen - Trade by Enterprise Characteristics (TEC) - und der internationalen Dienstleistungshandelsstatistik nach Unternehmensmerkmalen - Services Trade by Enterprise Characteristics (STEC) - auf Unternehmensebene verknüpft. Hieraus sind sieben experimentelle Tabellen zum Waren- und Dienstleistungshandel mit neuen Merkmalen entstanden. Der Beitrag stellt die Projektergebnisse vor und bietet so neue Einblicke in die Unternehmensstruktur des deutschen Handels mit dem Ausland.
